“Having been a lifelong hay net user, I was sceptical about spending the money on an Eazigrazer, but I am delighted that I did. For the first 3 years of having my “greedy” cob, I was using small holed hay nets, or loose in a trug which he kicked round the stable, and then a hay pillow (suitable for unshod horses) which ended up trampled into his bed every morning. Fed up with all the mess and not happy for him to continue using a hay net, I finally bought an Eazigrazer last month.

I can genuinely say that it is a really good, robust, well-made piece of kit, and so easy to use. My horse took to it immediately, and already seems much happier and calmer when eating his hay. No more tugging at the hay, putting a strain on his neck, just quietly grazing naturally. The grazer is easy to move around the stable, and the regulators are easy to take out to clean the inside.

The customer service I received during and after purchase has been excellent, and each time I have emailed with any questions I have had a reply within a few hours. All in all, my horse is happy, and so am I. If anyone is in any doubt about buying one of these, I would highly recommend it.”

“The Eazigrazer is totally fantastic. My Arabian horse absolutely loves it. His eating has slowed down and now he always has some hay left in the morning which is great for him as he is ulcer prone but a very good doer too, not easy to manage but the Eazigrazer has solved the problem. He no longer tugs at hay nets which caused him a lot of stress but feeding from the floor wasn’t an option as he scatters it about then wees on it! So thank you for providing a brilliant solution to what was becoming a very stressful problem.”

“I love the eazigrazer and so do my horses ! I’ve never been a fan of hay nets and the repetitive nature of how the horses use their bodies whilst eating. But eating from the floor, there was always so much waste. I searched a lot for the perfect solution and that’s when I came across the eazigrazer online. I’ve used them for several years now with my competition horses, and I can really see a difference in their musculature, so not just for health but also for performance. They have travelled to lots of different countries with us as we just wouldn’t be without them now.”

“Just wanted to drop a message and say that my horse has benefited with your eazigrazer! He doesn’t waste any hay anymore and been putting half in and half on the floor and chooses to eat from the eazigrazer first!!”

“Been using mine for a month now – it’s fantastic. Really slows my pony down and makes her much calmer. Great design much better than I expected. Bought it to use in the field but have been using it in the stable as well. Thank you!”

“Recently bought this for my driving pony who we have been soaking hay for, due to a dust allergy and to reduce sugar as he is prone to laminitis, for many years. The eazigrazer is the best thing I’ve ever bought, I tried it for the first time today and it was so much easier on my back than anything else I’ve ever tried. Pepper loves it and I love the way it allows for a more natural way of eating. I’m buying another one this evening and highly recommend to anyone to has to soak hay.”

“Bought these for my two ponies who have come down with laminitis – BRILLIANT. They have gone down well with the ponies, it didn’t take long for them to get the hang of it, and it does slow down their eating. Will also be good for when I have to feed hay in the winter – I can see it will mean I won’t have wasted trampled in hay all over the field! Sue and Barry at Eazigrazer were very helpful. Would totally recommend.”

“Thank you so much for our lovely Eazigrazer! My 15 year old KWPN gelding
happily took to it immediately (please see photo attached)

I purchased the Eazigrazer after some months of consideration, with the
following aims:
1. for my horse to eat at a lower feeding level to help aid his digestion &
top line condition.
2. a way for him to eat his ad-lib forage slowly! Again aiding digestion.
3. as a safe & hygienic way for my horse to eat.

Unfortunately my horse has had to consume his forage from haynets for many
years, which I’m sure has contributed to a loss of back muscle definition
and soreness throughout his neck. He had to have hay nets as he eats really
fast (& it was more convenient for my livery yard owner) so it was a matter
of which was the lesser of two evils, as he also suffers from sporadic
colic. This has been investigated and is more often than not due to gorging
on rich grass/hay or a build up of sand in his gut due to where we are
based.

He has time-limited turnout 9 months of the year and has to wear a grazing
muzzle, alongside eating a carefully selected feed, some wet hay, and
occasional treatments for his gut health.

Other than that he’s a wonderful, loving & happy horse who’s a really good
doer and gets plenty of exercise, so I’m hoping the Eazigrazer will become a
favourite product of both of ours & will help improve his health & welfare
even further.”

“Duck to water springs to mind. She was eating it through the holes while I was filling it with water. She has early signs of lami and the soaked nets were killing me. Very good quality, sturdy unit. Thank you.”

“Now we have used the tubs for several months. What does long-term experience mean? The tubs are still standing, the horses still eat relaxed and satisfied. We are equally satisfied!”

Alessa Neuner – Germany

We stumbled across a gem of a blog post about Eazigrazer recently, and the owner has very kindly given us permission to share it. Not only were we of course very happy to read that Alessa is so pleased with her hay feeders, but we then ended up spending a few very enjoyable hours (and more since) reading through her other blog posts and scrolling through her beautiful photos!

If your German is as bad as ours, then you can translate the page through your browser. Although the translation isn’t perfect, you are still able to get a good idea of what Alessa has to say. There are also some great photos of Eazigrazer in use (and we have to admit to being envious of Alessa’s set up…)

“Hi, my Eazigrazer arrived on Wednesday and I am so pleased with it! Millie has taken to it like a duck to water and it is so easy to use. No more hay tramped about the stable if shes not hungry and the standard sized holes have seemed to almost double her feed time at least!! So pleased I purchased this, maybe have to save and get the other horse one for Christmas haha.”

“Hello, just to say how much I love my new eazigrazer. I bought it for my laminitic mare, although sadly we said goodbye to her this week. So I have given it to one of my other horses. They both took to it immediately. It is light yet very robust, easy to soak hay and very time saving to fill. They both seemed to really like it, and it is great to see them eating in a natural position. My hubby is going to buy me 2 more for a birthday prezzie for my other horses. Delighted!”

I just thought I would let you know what a wonderful product I think the Eazigrazer is for horses. My lad is 21 years old now, I have had him ever since he was 18 months old. He had his first bout of laminitis when he was 4 and we have struggled with this horrendous condition ever since.

I have purchased every sized hole hay net on the market, some holes so small he literally gave up trying to pull the hay out, and the larger sized holes where eaten through within weeks having to tie them together with baling string. As he is IR as well, most of his diet is hay, not grass. He also developed very sore neck muscles because of constantly tugging at the hay not being able to graze in a natural position.

Then I came across the Eazigrazer. What a difference it has made, I used to hate filling nets, and I think over the last few weeks his neck muscles have seemed more relaxed. Easy to fill and more importantly more natural for a horse to eat.

The Eazigrazer is so sturdy yet so easy to carry around. I recommend any one with a horse to save up for one, the money you save on hay nets and hay, as not so much is wasted on the floor, is worth the cost. I wish I could have had one years ago.

Good luck Barry, I have told all my friends to have one.

George has Cushing’s syndrome and has to spend a lot of time off the pasture. He really likes his new Eazigrazer which keeps him occupied for a lot longer than hay nets. He took to it straightaway. This little video shows his first attempt but I filled it right to the top for the night. He had eaten about 80% of his hay by the following morning and he polished off the rest when he came in from his morning’s 3 hour grazing opportunity. It lasted him until I was ready to recharge it for the next night.

This last winter has been terrible. We are on clay soil and the problem has been to not ruin the fields. We had created a hard standing around the stable block so that we would not have to turn the horses out into the arena. Initially we used hay nets but even with double netting, the hay was being eaten quickly. The Easigrazer has been the answer. We bought three, one for each animal. The hay is eaten slowly and the head is at the right angle for grazing. The Easigrazer is tough, washable and is the perfect grazing solution. I would thoroughly recommend them.

“Couldn’t be without mine now! I have a very hungry dressage horse who would eat me out of house and home if I allowed it. The eazigrazer makes him eat a natural speed rather than scoffing it down.”

“I bought two Eazigrazers for my horses and have the medium and small sized tops. Its a great bit of kit and well worth the purchase. My two good doers need to loose weight and one is on box rest with laminitis. These are a god send when it come soaking hay and trying to slow their munching down. They took to them instantly and its great to see them stretch down to eat in a more natural position. Its so easy to use and portable from stable to yard which means when they can go out it can be used in the field rather than tying nets to rails ( and breaking them!) or feeding hay off the floor. Thanks very much for making them and I would highly recommend them.”

“My horse loves it and understood how to eat from it right away. And I like the easy filling, which takes no time at all. It is so much better than a hay net. We’re really happy about the good quality (when the eazigrazer is nearly empty my horse tosses it over or tries to chew on the inlay-but the eazigrazer withstands it all;-)”

“I bought the Eazigrazer for my young horse and couldn’t be more pleased! He was previously wasting a lot of hay but since he started using this product it’s no longer a problem. My mare has since had colic surgery and is on box rest, so the Eazigrazer is perfect for her as she still gets the same amount of hay but it takes longer for her to eat it. It also makes it very easy to soak the hay. I am now eagerly awaiting delivery of my second Eazigrazer. The team at Eazigrazer have been a pleasure to deal with and are exceedingly helpful.”

“Photo is of Mildred enjoying her Eazigrazer 2 minutes after putting it in the stable! She took to it so well. A month later and she prefers to eat from it to off the floor. She knocks it over and lies down eating from it as well I just never get a picture! It’s fab. She has slowed down eating to nowhere near as ‘anxious’ as she was with a haynet, and her neck is so much more relaxed already. Very best wishes I really hope it becomes a massive success. Every horse should have one!”

“My pony is very greedy and a ‘good doer’. She also wind sucks and has to wear a collar. I have tried all sorts of hay nets to try and slow her down and hated watching her getting frustrated tugging at the nets with the collar digging into her. Now with the Eazigrazer the collar no longer causes pressure, her head is down, she is stretching through her neck and back as she would be when grazing…  Her way of going has improved, she is more free and relaxed. I would not dream of going back to a hay net and have already asked Barry for one for travelling in the lorry!”

“Just to let you know I love them! Tried them in the barn the other night and they were fantastic. Put plenty in – didn’t have to hay up at midnight and no mess! Also I put them with the horses on farrier day and it was a much calmer time!”
